Around Lake Annecy, many projects share the same starting point: a property with real potential, a view, grounds, generous proportions, but an interior layout that no longer does it justice. Unlocking that potential takes more than a cosmetic refresh. It calls for a true reconfiguration, designed and then managed all the way through to completion.
Atelier Christophe Sarlandie carries out complete renovations of high-end houses and apartments throughout the Annecy area, including Sevrier, Veyrier-du-Lac, Saint-Jorioz, Talloires-Montmin, and Argonay, handling both design and project management.
A single point of contact designs the project and oversees its construction. This is what ensures continuity from the plans on paper to the finished result.
Every project starts with the space itself: its orientation, views, light, proportions, and the constraints of the existing building. The studio then translates layout options into floor plans, perspective drawings, and 3D visualizations, so that every decision is based on something tangible before any work begins.
The studio prepares the bid documents, reviews quotes, verifies each company’s insurance coverage, and selects the contractors. It then manages the job site: coordinating the trades, ensuring quality control, and keeping the budget and schedule on track through to final handover.
Walk-in closets, bookcases, kitchens, and built-in furniture are designed as a seamless extension of the architectural plan, creating a cohesive interior that is comfortable for everyday living.
Christophe Sarlandie has been practicing interior architecture since 2009 and has nearly 20 years of experience in renovation. He holds the Diplôme Supérieur en Architecture Intérieure (Advanced Diploma in Interior Architecture) and is an accredited member of the CFAI, the French Council of Interior Architects, where he has served as vice president since 2024. He is also recognized by VSI-ASAI in Switzerland and represents France at the ECIA, the European Council of Interior Architects.
These professional commitments benefit you directly: a practice governed by a code of ethics, 10-year liability insurance, and consistently high standards. The studio’s clients include executives, independent professionals, and international homeowners, and it takes on only a limited number of projects each year.
An in-depth consultation, held on site or at the studio, to understand your goals and evaluate the property’s potential, its technical constraints, and the feasibility of the project.
Layout options are developed from the project brief and refined in working sessions using floor plans, diagrams, and 3D visualizations. Depending on the technical complexity of the project, specialists may be brought in, such as a surveyor, an acoustic engineer, an energy consultant, a lighting designer, or an engineering firm.
Once the necessary permits are in place, the studio solicits bids from contractors and obtains reliable, comparable quotes, then coordinates and oversees the work through to final handover and the installation of the interior decor.
The Atelier operates primarily in Lyon and the Greater Lyon area, as well as in the Pays de Gex, the Geneva area, and the Annecy region.
