This renovation of a contemporary family apartment in Lyon Confluence district for a couple coming from Geneva had a dual objective: to combine quality materials such as marble and wood while opting for a clean line.
The architectural design began with a significant opening of the spaces, the removal of partitions, and upgrading of all heating, electrical, and plumbing work.
In line with the design specifications, the black and white present in the materials and light provided the main color palette for the space. It was therefore a question of finding a balance between clean lines and the character of the materials.
The space was designed as a whole, including the entrance, the comfortable living room with its large Minotti angle sofa, the white marble dining table decorated with a PH5 hanging light, and the office area whose wooden surfaces envelop the space. The entrance plays with materials of glass and mirror to create a sense of volume and structure the space.
The indirect lighting of the many built-in storage units and the ceiling contribute to the elegance of the interior.

Architecture intérieure : équilibre entre minimalisme et caractère
Le projet développe une écriture architecturale fondée sur une palette noir et blanc, où la lumière naturelle et les matériaux deviennent les éléments principaux de composition.
L’enjeu était de trouver un équilibre entre la légèreté des lignes et la présence des matières, afin de créer une atmosphère à la fois sobre, élégante et structurée.
Aménagement sur mesure et mobilier haut de gamme
L’espace de vie a été pensé dans une continuité fluide depuis l’entrée jusqu’au séjour. Le canapé d’angle de Minotti, la table en marbre blanc et la suspension PH5 participent à une composition cohérente et maîtrisée.
Un espace bureau intégré, habillé de bois, vient compléter l’ensemble. L’entrée joue avec le verre et le miroir afin de structurer les perspectives et amplifier la sensation d’espace.
Travail de la lumière et qualité de réalisation
Un soin particulier a été apporté à l’éclairage indirect, intégré aux rangements et aux plafonds. Ce dispositif permet de révéler les lignes architecturales et de créer une ambiance maîtrisée.
La cohérence entre conception et réalisation a été au cœur du projet, afin de garantir un résultat fidèle aux intentions initiales.
